Becky Friedly and Robert Pate.

These two people have been the main characters in this story since we began this journey.

A quick glance into Becky's victimology and timeline led us directly to a planned hike

that was supposed to occur right around the time of the murders.

And our analysis so far is really up in the air as to whether the hike actually happened

or if it was cancelled like Robert says.

Personally, I'm leaning towards it being cancelled.

While we only have Robert's work to work from, in his interview, he didn't present me any

reason to believe that he was lying and on multiple occasions leaked out information that

demonstrates that he really has no knowledge of how or why the murders occurred.

We're definitely going to circle back to Robert Pate, but for the time being,

the scorned ex-boyfriend narrative doesn't seem to hold water.

Which means that we need to continue digging into the

victimology of not only Becky, but also of John and Vicki.

Are there more risk factors that were tossed aside by the original investigators?

I believe that they're all.
