I'm Bob Brun.

It's been nearly a year of analyzing the crime scene, studying victimology, breaking

on autopsy's and crime scene photos.

We've profiled the scene and listened to so many interviews of people who were close

to the victims and the days leading up to their murders.

To this point, in my opinion, no clear suspects have emerged.

I do have a solid list of persons of interest, but no real suspects and no real motive.

So we've reached the point in the process that so many of you have been anxiously waiting

for.

A deep dive into the case that was built against and ultimately ended with the convictions

of Robert Pate and Christian Smith.

All we've covered to this point are there are initial police interviews and Havies report

to the police that Robert and Christian had made plans to go hiking with Becky on the

night of the murders, but they both say that they never followed through with those

plans.

Aside from that, we have some cell phone evidence.

The state alleges that the call logs show that after 7pm, the two teenagers were moving

in the direction of Pinyan Pines.

At least they say Robert was.

It's a much tougher case to make that Christian was moving in that direction since the outgoing

calls from his cell phone show him moving in the exact opposite direction.
