I'm Bob Brun.

After last week's episode, everyone has been asking about Becky's father, Ron Friedley.

As I said on the follow-up, looking into him at this point appears to be the next logical

step in our investigation.

Most of you already know what I'm about to tell you based on little tidbits that I've

shared throughout the season, but just as a quick refresher, this is what we know about

Ron.

Ron was a Riverside County Sheriff.

He married Vicki in January of 1980.

At that point, Tiffany was five years old and just to reiterate, Ron is not Tiffany's

father.

Ron and Vicki were married for ten years.

They split up around 1990 and during those ten years, they had Tanya, Drew, and Becky

in that order.

Vicki was awarded the Pinyon Pines House in the divorce and she was also owed some

amount of money from Ron's retirement.

Ron retired from the Sheriff's Department in 2005.

We know that he paid Vicki an initial $10,000 around the time of his retirement and it's

believed that he still owed her more money.

At the time of the murders, Ron was living in Northern California over a ten hour drive

away from the crime scene.
