I'm Bob Rock.

For the last several weeks, we've been heavily focused on the people closely connected

to Becky, and I know that for some of you that's frustrating.

Since we don't know if she was actually the target of the murders, of course, we all

have an urge to move on and look into a different suspect pool, and while that makes sense

at the same time we can't just skip over critical elements of the investigation.

Can't assume that everyone connected to Becky can just be cleared.

I've made it very clear that my personal hypothesis is that Vicki was in fact the target

of the attack.

But let's not forget that Jim Clemente leaned more towards Becky being the target.

Now, a broader scale tunnel vision is how these wrongful convictions happen in the first

place.

Even if it's not the place we want to go, it's critical to this and any investigation

that we work through and potentially clear anyone and everyone that had any connection

to the victims.

We can't simply skip over an entire pool of suspects.

Even if what we ultimately accomplish is to clear this group of teenagers so that we

can confidently move on.

We also have to remember that it was two teenagers connected to Becky who were convicted of these

murders, and therefore it's critically necessary for us to examine every angle of her life

and movements and the days leading up to her murder.
