And this week it's the Turn Your Eyes to the Skies shows. We're talking about UFOs, abductions, alien encounters, and more.

And it's a full week. We are talking to people from every walk of life, religious, biblical looks at this, scientific looks at it.

And joining us tonight, Dr. Irina Scott, she received her PhD from the University of Missouri in physiology, did postdoctoral research at Cornell University,

has been an assistant professor at St. Bonaventure University and has done research and teaching at Ohio State University, the University of Missouri, the University of Nevada, and at Patel Memorial Institute.

She worked for the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Aerospace Center in satellite photography, was a volunteer astronomer at the Ohio State University radio observatory, and has taken flying lessons.

Her publications include books and works in scientific journals, magazines, newspapers, and she was a correspondent for Popular Mechanics magazine.

She served on the Mufon Board of Directors from 1993 to 2000, is a Mufon consultant in physiology and astronomy and a field investigator.

She co-edited eight symposium proceedings, has been a state section director for Ohio Mufon and was a founding member of the Ohio Mito-Hio Research Associates and its journal editor, and has published UFO material in books and journals, including scientific journals.

She's taken time out from what seems like a very busy schedule to spend with us this evening. Her new book, UFOs Today, 70 years of lies, misinformation, and government cover-up. I re-enact thank you so much for joining us this evening.

Fascinating topics, and boy, you have led a life. I don't know how you've had time to do any kind of research when you've been working for every college in America and doing all the work you do. What brought your attention to ufology and the study and research and investigations of these claims?

I started out practically from the time I was born being interested in astronomy, and I went to college working my way through and majored in it and looked for jobs.
