The United States Supreme Court strikes down race-based preferences in college admissions today.

And also advances a case, Groff v. DeJoy, that we'll get into, that protects people of religious faith from job discrimination.

Hey, Eric. I'm going to jump right to it. Okay. As a black man in this country, I really feel like it is a bad decision to be such a thing so early. This thing was only the,

the firm to action was only brought forth in, what, 1965, half of Congress and the Supreme Court were already in their position or living or, you know, involved with those.

I just feel like it's something, I'm 47. I feel like it's something my grandkids kids should have had on

their table. Not

the same people that was

eaten off of the before

from the action plate. Now

I would say, oh, okay, yeah, let's get rid of

you, but you see what I'm coming

from? I don't feel like it has been around

enough. You know, we're not far, we're not that far you see what I'm coming from I don't feel like it has been around enough you know

we're not far we're not that far removed from the the racial rift of our country

you know we're not that far removed for I feel like for these people to do such a thing

now you know?
