| 0:00.0 | Hey friends, welcome back to the old-fashioned on-purpose podcast. |
| 0:04.4 | So, last year, many of you are aware that I had some major issues with my tomato seedlings. |
| 0:11.7 | I posted about it on Instagram, but it was basically an epic failure. |
| 0:15.4 | I killed over 150 little baby plants, took me a long time to figure out why, |
| 0:20.5 | but even though it was a rough year of the garden, it taught me some really important lessons, |
| 0:26.4 | and one of the silver linings that came from that whole disaster is that it really |
| 0:31.6 | kick-started my interest in soil health. That has been an interest that I kind of had bubbling |

| 1:11.6 | And also, of course, the flip side of that is once we have that data, what the heck do we do with |
| 1:16.8 | it, especially if you're not a soil scientist? So, we are going straight to the source today, |
| 1:22.9 | and I am so very honored to have Aaron Ellison with me today. He works in Redmond agriculture. |
| 1:29.4 | He has a master's degree in animal science. He's worked on beef ranches on dairy operations. |
| 1:35.5 | He's been in the field. He knows his stuff. He understands agriculture at a very deep level. |
| 1:40.4 | And I can't wait to talk about soil with you today, Aaron. Welcome. |
| 1:45.1 | Thank you. Glad to be with you. |
| 1:47.5 | Yeah. So, I guess, let's just kind of start off at the beginning. That makes sense. |
| 1:54.7 | Let's say I have a homesteader or a gardener listening to this episode right now, |
