I don't know what's heating up more, the weather or politics.

Yeah.

So how long have you been in politics?

Oh, gosh.

Since I was in college, really, 94.

So maybe 30 years going up.

Okay, you've been in about a decade longer than me um how do you vet

um information and what's reliable and not reliable because i've come across some information

that could be damaging to a congressional candidate that could pretty much take their campaign

i'm like well i can either just throw in the trash or I can

go in, investigate it. So what are your thoughts? And should I do? Oh, yeah, okay. So here's what

I do. This is probably the number one question I get asked today is how do I do show prep? How do I research, how do I form my opinions? And I will tell

you, in all honesty, I read twice as much now as I ever have in the past. I rarely have

time to read for pleasure anymore because I am reading the news constantly now.

I read and subscribe to the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post,

USA Today, the London Telegraph, the London Times, Bloomberg, National Review.

And then I read, pay attention to the clips from the Associated Press and Reuters, so all the

mainstream media outlets.
