Summary

The Vuelta Femenina gave Rose Manley and Lizzy Banks plenty to talk about in this special Arrivée episode.

It was a packed seven days at the first women’s Grand Tour of the year. Rose and Lizzy cover the fall-out from a controversially timed pee stop, the return of a legend to winning ways and the emergence of a new climbing star.

0:59.0

Just so many stories that are just, you know, some bizarre stories, some great stories, so much really, really good racing.

1:08.0

And kind of not really what I thought at all, you know how every grand tour has its own personality, the tour is the tour.

1:14.0

1:25.0

And I feel like the welter has more of a kind of a relaxed vibe to it, but Spanish quite laid back.

1:31.0

And I was watching the race thinking, oh yeah, it's a really nice chilled grand tour.

1:44.0

There'd been crashes everywhere, really high tension, very nervous.

1:47.0

And I'm well, maybe it's just relaxed from the sofa, but it's, it's certainly come to a climax this weekend, hasn't it, Rose?

1:56.0

Oh my goodness, it really has. And obviously the welter is in its new place, new slot in the calendar coming first this time as opposed to normally being in that late August September.
