Ladies, gentlemen, Gules, welcome to another installment of Monsters Among Us Beyond.

A very special installment, in fact.

As the title suggests, this is the second half of your hometown legends, season 10 finale special.

And just as we did with part one, I have an amazing array of terrified tales to share with you.

And of course, I must say that hometown legends tend to have violent origins.

And as a result, violence will be discussed on this episode. So parental guidance and trigger warnings

and all that. Now, before we share our first call, I want to kick this thing off with a hometown legend

of my own. And since I've been sharing so many of the years, I find myself casting a larger

and larger net. That's really a nice way of saying that I cheated. The following story is

from my home state, but not my hometown. Far from it, actually. But the story was

simply too good not to share. It's the tale of the Hatchet Man, or Hatchet Man Road,

of Logan County, Ohio. Now the main story I was able to source was that in the mid-1800s,

a man named Andrew Hellman butchered his wife and kids where they hatch it.
