We have some breaking news.

I have to deal with out of the gate.

I will take your phone calls at 877-97-9-373-7-4-25, but this is rather

significant. The Department of Justice, Merrick Garland, is holding a press conference at

1.30 p.m. today about a national security threat of a malign influence scheme and criminal activity by a nation-state actor inside the United States.

There is credible and informed speculation based on reporting from last week that the United States is about to ban TikTok.

We don't know that that's true until we actually hear the story at 1.30.

I'm keeping my eyes open on this.

I will go to whatever is left of the briefing after our commercial break at the bottom

of the hour because this is a significant, significant story.

Here's what we know from last week.

And my apologies to those of you want to talk about campaigns, this is actually breaking

serious news.

And we'll get back to the flow of things after we deal with this. And we'll go to the Attorney General at the bottom of the hour here. Last week, there was a report that came out. I had so much other stuff to talk about. I never got to it. But a report came out in, I think, Bloomberg or CNBC, that said,

whistleblower said TikTok was being used. Keep in mind, so what is it, bite dance or whatever,

their parent company is a Chinese company that is run by the communist Chinese army and that TikTok was being used to track

people of influence inside the United States, that it was essentially being used to monitor

their locations and provide feedback.
