Things happened and, well, you know, I want to spend some time on this later, but I just, can you bear with me for a moment?

Because there's a point I need to make.

But to make that point, I need you to know, I'm just, I'm not talking out of my rear end here.

You know, I was a lawyer for six years.

And one of my specialties was election law. And through that, I fell into

campaigns. I'd already been active in politics, college Republicans, working on campaigns,

went to campaign management school while I was a lawyer, learned how to run campaigns, began running

campaigns. And in congressional races out in the heartland,

your campaign strategist kind of becomes the jack of all trade.

So I was having to write scripts for TV and radio,

having to find people to cut them,

having to do the booking for them,

having to design the mail pieces,

having to get the mail pieces out,

having to do the walk lists,
