We are going to be recapping the Women's World Championship road race.

Glass goes served up another cracker just as it did a week ago.

Well, we've got to give the riders some credit.

I guess they're the ones that make the race rather than the course.

My name is Lionel Bernie and with the A-Team out of action, unavailable for selection today,

I've called on Denny Gray fresh from the Tour de France fan, an excellent addition to our coverage over there in France.

And well, I don't want to imply that you're being called up from the reserves, Denny,

but I'm certainly being called up from the reserves to recap the Women's Road Race at the Worlds.

And we've just watched it, haven't we? And what a humdinger it was.

Yeah, no thanks, Lionel.

I think we would find a workout whether we were the D-Team or the E-Team beforehand,

wouldn't we? But anyway, whatever we are, we're here.

It was a cracking race.

I had to say I was a little bit nervous before the race.

We've seen some kind of brilliant additions of the road races,

both at the kind of senior and junior and under 23 levels.

And I guess I was just hoping for more of the same for the women today.

And I don't think they disappointed.

They certainly didn't.

I mean, the final day of the Super World, isn't it?
