been a bittersweet day for me really it's been great to be back at a bike race but of course

tinged with sadness because the last time I was here I was here with Richard Moore who has passed

away recently and it was October last year wasn't it? Paris Roubaix held in the autumn and we came

over and we covered the races and we had a fantastic weekend and it still feels completely unreal

that he's not here to be with me and to share his thoughts on the racing and he would have

absolutely loved today's racing and of course Richard's hand will always be there and evident

in everything we do on the Cycling Podcast and over the last few days Daniel and I've been talking

about how to return to podcasting action I suppose and it just felt right for Arrivet. I'd actually

booked my travel to come over to Paris Roubaix to spend a weekend with Richard and I felt that

I could come over and watch the racing and Arrivet just gives us a chance to talk about cycling

which after all is what Richard loved to do so we are continuing here with a few episodes of Arrivet
