My name is Alexa and today we continue our city of the Book of Psalms by looking at

Psalms 136 through 140. In Psalm 36, the Psalmists repeatedly

declares how God's faithful love endures forever. The Psalmists praises God's faithfulness

by speaking to the character of God, God's hand in creation,

into specific redemptive acts of God throughout Israel's history.

With every statement of what God has done, the Psalms proclaims the internality of God's

faithful love. The Psalms move from joy to lament as
