My name is Alexa and today we continue our study of the Book of Psalms

by looking at Psalms 141 through 145. In Psalm 141, David

prays for God's help. But even before praying for God's help, David asks for

God to keep him from evil. His prayers are ultimately for God to rescue him from the wicked, but he sees his own need to flee from evil and asks to receive rebuke from others if there is any sin in him.

David looks to God and trust seeking refuge

in him alone. In Psalm 142, David prays while hiding in a cave from Saul. David cries

out to the Lord and pours out to him the trouble he's experiencing.
