Hey, hey, hey everybody. Welcome back to another episode of a year in the Bible with

Daily Grace. This is Stephanie and today we will be finishing the book of

Jeremiah.

The prophetic books can be difficult for modern readers,

but day by day we press through. And guess what?

We learned a lot. I'll share a few solid truths we can take away from our time in Jeremiah,

but first, let's cover chapters 49 to 52.

Chapters 49, 50, and 51 are much like yesterday's readings on the judgments.

Chapter 49 focuses on six nations.

Some of these are told they would completely be destroyed with no remaining descendants,

while others are promised some degree of restoration.

For example, the Elamites are are promised some degree of restoration.

to have their fortunes restored.

They wouldn't be completely wiped out.

And actually, we see them in the New Testament
