0:30.5	of the Book of Hosea, but looking at Hosea 7 through 10. In
0:33.7	hosea 7, hosea continues to be a mouthpiece for God as God speaks of Israel's
0:38.8	disobedience. God describes how instead of being a set-apart nation, Israel has mixed themselves with other nations and adopted their idle worship.
0:47.5	In a second lament, God mourns over Israel by describing how Israel does not recognize or turn to him.
0:54.0	God says that he desires to redeem them but they rebel against him instead of coming
0:59.2	to him in repentance. Even though God has strengthened and helped Israel, they have turned away from him.
1:05.0	Jose continues to speak of Israel's waywardness in
1:08.0	and Jose 8. Through Josea, God describes how Israel has become prideful, believing they know what is right for
1:15.7	their nation.
1:17.4	They have appointed kings and rulers without God's blessing and make idols for themselves.
1:23.0	Because of their disobedience, God says he will not accept their sacrificial gifts
1:28.0	that are not true acts of worship, and he will destroy the cities they have set up for themselves.

1:35.4	hosea speaks of Israel's coming exile.
1:38.0	Because of their sin, Israel will be removed from the land God gave them and sent into exile.
1:44.0	Again, Israel will try to make offerings and sacrifices to God, but God will not accept them.
1:50.0	Even if they try to escape their exile, other nations will capture them.
1:54.1	Jose proclaims that God will no longer bless Israel with provision and protection
