And today we're going to talk about chapters 10 through 13 of the book of Hebrews.

These are some of my favorite chapters in all of the Bible.

They are bold and compelling and I think that you are going to love them too.

Chapter 10 begins with a warning.

The author of Hebrews has warned us several times already

that we should not reject Jesus and they're doing that same thing here again.

The sacrificial system of the Old Testament could never take away sins.

But Jesus who sacrificed his life once for all, he can take away our sins.

In light of that, how silly would it be to reject his forgiveness?

The author then calls the believers he was writing to to stay faithful to Jesus until the end.

And this marks a shift in the book.

From here until the end of the book of Hebrews,

it's going to be just one big encouragement to remain steadfast in the faith

in light of the supremacy of Jesus.

It was discussed in the first nine and a half chapters.
