| 0:46.0 | The author of Hebrews has warned us several times already |
| 0:49.0 | that we should not reject Jesus and they're doing that same thing here again. |
| 0:54.0 | The sacrificial system of the Old Testament could never take away sins. |
| 0:58.0 | But Jesus who sacrificed his life once for all, he can take away our sins. |
| 1:04.0 | In light of that, how silly would it be to reject his forgiveness? |
| 1:09.0 | The author then calls the believers he was writing to to stay faithful to Jesus until the end. |
| 1:15.0 | And this marks a shift in the book. |
| 1:18.0 | From here until the end of the book of Hebrews, |
| 1:20.0 | it's going to be just one big encouragement to remain steadfast in the faith |
| 1:24.0 | in light of the supremacy of Jesus. |
| 1:27.0 | It was discussed in the first nine and a half chapters. |
