0:26.6	My name is Aubrey Coleman, one of the hosts for the podcast, and today we're looking
0:29.9	at the book of Ezekiel, chapters 34 through 36.
0:34.8	In the beginning of these chapters, we see a shift to God's heart and concern for
0:38.7	his people.
0:39.9	Ezekiel speaks of God's disappointment over those he established as shepherds over his people
0:45.0	Israel.
0:46.0	God instituted them to teach and to guide the nation of Israel and the statutes of the
0:50.4	Lord has given by Moses, but they failed.
0:54.0	The sheep were lost and scattered now.
0:56.0	As a result, the Lord judged them accordingly
0:59.0	and removed them from their position.
1:01.0	Then the Lord declared he would search for the scatter sheep himself.
1:06.0	What a representation of the loving kindness of the Lord, toward his people and the
1:10.2	restoration he brings.
1:12.2	Even though many were lost, the Lord desired for them to be found.
1:16.4	Nevertheless, the Lord still had to deal with the internal failings of Israel through a period of judgment. The conclusion of Chapter 34 deals with the
1:24.8	aftermath of his judgment when Christ will reign supreme. Israel will finally live in peace and
1:31.0	prosperity as a restored nation in right relationship with the Lord
1:34.3	and the Lord will make a new covenant of peace with Israel where there will be no
