| 1:27.8 | enough for the seventh. God instructed them not to gather on the seventh day, reminding them |
| 1:33.8 | that he too rested on the seventh day of creation. They called this rest Sabbath. Everyone |
| 1:40.9 | had just enough, no more or no less was needed. And the Israelites relied on this bread |
| 1:47.9 | for the forty years that they journeyed through the wilderness. They called it mana. |
| 1:54.4 | As they continued their journey, water became scarce as well. Again, they complained and |
| 1:59.9 | grumbled. They wished for Egypt. At least we had water there, they said. |
