Hello and welcome to episode 9 of Out with

Susie Ruffle. I can't believe we're already at

episode 9. I have loved doing this every week. We've got one more

rep next week of series 1. I've loved all of the interviews, I've loved hearing from you all. It's just been wonderful. It's exactly what I hoped it would be and I've loved it and I get the feeling that lots of you have loved it too. I hope this finds you well today. A big thank you to everyone that's got in touch

and rated and reviewed the show. Oh this week has been a lot easier for me. I've got to admit

lockdown's feeling a little bit easier. The sun has been glorious. I've been out on my bike lots, which

makes me very, very happy. I'm coming to you again this week from my little cupboard office

studio thing. Now lockdown is lifting a little bit next week, and I am very excited at the prospect of going to see my mom in her garden.

Very luckily it's just in time for her birthday so I will be taking some cake too.

Now I hope you get to enjoy the nice weather in your own way this

week as well. Before we begin I wanted to I wanted to talk about a book that's coming

out this week now if you listen to episode two which was with

Ruth Hunt and if you haven't listened to it please go back it is a brilliant

episode. Ruth has got a new book coming out this week and it is called The

Book of Queer Profits. It is a collection of 24 essays from

24 writers about sexuality and faith and it's been curated by Ruth. Now I am such a

massive fan of her. I think she's such a force for good in the world.

I've just started reading it, but I'm already loving it.

And that is what I'm going to be enjoying on my balcony this weekend.
