NCIC discussion that we had in last week's episode. After that we're going to walk through undisclosed

episode 6, the suspect, and then we'll end the show today by reading some listener emails and tweets.

So first off the NCIC discussions.

You'll remember in the previous undisclosed episode Susan Simpson brought to light that Officer O'Shea

had done an offline NCIC search to see if anyone had run Hayes plates. Officer O'Shea had done

an offline NCIC search the purpose of which was to find out if any officers had run Hayes plates

through the NCIC system since her disappearance. This is a method often used by law enforcement to

help track a vehicle that they're looking for. There were two entries on the return that Officer O'Shea

got that are called into question twice on February 4th. Searches were made in Baltimore County or

at least by Baltimore County officers for Hayes plate in the NCIC system. Now the big question is

with that does that mean that her car was spotted in Baltimore County on February 4th before her

car was actually found? It very well may mean that but there are also some other explanations and
