So Samira, where did you first hear this album?

When did you get into it?

Where did Hard Day's Night come into this?

I have two sources for it.

One is the BBC showed all the Beatles films at Christmas

1978, I think it was. And I remember watching them and just falling in love with them. I had an

elder brother who was born in 1963, so he was already playing a lot of Beatles music and I grew up

very much with his tastes. And weirdly, this is one of the first albums I bought. So we went to

HMV and I bought the record. I thought, oh, I know this album from the film and I will love it.

And my brother managed to con me into doing a swap. I gave him this album and he gave me

the bootleg Beatles at the Star Club Hamburg plus a David Soul single. I went, oh yeah, but you

get two Beatles records for one.

And you just, you know, I was so young.

So, and this is, I brought mine in.
