Summary

I had the best time talking to Grant Lewers. He is so wise and articulate about his journey from debilitating back pain to complete freedom, and there are so many great take aways from this conversation. If you've ever worried that JournalSpeak is too negative, and you are nervous to think about so much dark stuff, Grant has a bullseye explanation for you as he was the same. What is up my people? Welcome to the podcast. Hey guys, it's Nicole. This is the cure for chronic pain with me, Nicole Sacks, and I am happy to be here with you today.

0:24.0

Oh God, how's life going for everybody? How's life going? For me, life is going a lot

0:31.2

freaking better than it has been. So that is great news. Everything is settling down with the kids. My happy babies go

0:41.1

off to school in the morning, things are really looking up, and I have time to do amazing interviews, like the one I did, very, very early this morning.

0:50.4

So my guest today is Grant Lures, and he lives in Australia near Sydney, and we are 14 hours apart. So we worked hard on getting this time scheduled, and it was 7.30 in the morning for me, and 9.30 at night for him, and we worked it out.

1:09.4

And so I had to sort of wake myself up, wake up, and be like, come on, it's time to go right away, which usually I don't have to do quite so quickly. But it was just great. Wow, I am really excited to share this interview with you today.

1:23.4

So I love Grant. I love his energy. I love his accent. And I just love the fact that he is so articulate about how this journey has been for him. When I first met Grant through mutual friend, he was in debilitating debilitating pain.

1:40.4

He had tripped over my course because of social media and connectedness of all of us, which is my favorite part of social media, the fact that we can help each other, help people we don't even know.

1:51.4

And he had taken my course and had a pretty euphoric healing experience that he reached out to share with me. And he also was very integral in my bringing my message to a larger community because he introduced me to John Gabriel, who invited me to Omega last summer.

2:09.4

And that presentation I gave at Omega was the reason that I got asked to have my own retreat. And now that is ongoing since I have another one, as you guys know, coming up next summer.

2:20.4

So please, if you are interested in learning about what I do in my live retreats, just go to my website and click on the link on my homepage to check out the Omega retreat I have for next summer, August 9 through the 14th.

2:33.4

And if it weren't for Grant, the person, the lovely man that I'm going to interview on the podcast today, I would never be saying those words. So I just love it. I love how people connect.

2:44.4

I love how one thing leads to another. And I love how his pain was able to be beautifully, beautifully taken care of as a result of him coming in contact with this work, which he's going to tell you all about.

2:58.4

And I just love knowing him. He's a really beautiful example of positivity and of coming from a difficult background and thriving. And the one thing that was missing is he didn't know that if he didn't express himself just to himself, the way journal speak works that he would live in pain. And once he understood that he's been able to overcome tremendous physical pain.

3:20.4

So I'm excited to share his story with you. And I'm just excited to share all my work with you. If you guys are new to my work, please check out the cure for chronic pain.com, which is my website. Also the YouTube channel on YouTube of the same name, the cure for chronic pain with Nicole Sacks, lots of free information.

3:40.4

And if you are interested in diving deeper and taking my course, just click on the course tab on my website. It's called Freedom from Chronic Pain. And I know Grant is going to talk about it a bit in this interview.

3:52.4

I just hear all the time that it's a real game changer for people because it's just a way to be held accountable and to feel like I'm holding your hand through this entire process. So I appreciate the feedback I get all the time from the course.

4:05.4

And I love the feedback I get from you guys about this podcast. Thank you. Thank you. I go on at least a couple times a week to read the reviews. The new reviews coming in and to see how people are rating the podcast.

4:17.4

I know a few people don't like it. It's funny. You know, it's like so funny because I know when you go online, you know, and put yourself out there, there's going to, they're going to be people that hate you.

4:28.4

But when I looked at my podcast reviews and it was like, I don't know, like four people, not not in B6, I think it's six. Said like they gave it one star and Charlotte was just looking over my computer when I was looking at it the other day.

4:43.4

She was like, who could hate you, mommy? And I'm like, you know what? Whatever. Like you have to be willing to be disliked and disagreed with if you're willing to put yourself out there.

4:54.4

But even so, even though there is a little, it hurts a little. But whatever dude, I gotta get over it. I gotta get over myself. It's not about my ego. It is about carrying this message for real for real.
