Hello my beloved and happy new year. It's Nicole here and welcome to the Kierfer Chronic

Pain with Nicole Sachs. LCSW. My name is a mouthful. Hi, how are you? I'm coming to you

0:26.9

today right after the new year and I am excited to be back with you. I had a really great holiday season.

0:35.1

And to say I had a great holiday season does not mean that my holiday season was perfect and it

0:41.1

doesn't mean that it was without conflict or there weren't moments that were exhausting or

0:47.1

uncomfortable or created challenges for me with my family or my friends or my schedule or my

0:54.3

exhaustion. It means that overall I feel really good about it and one of the ways I decide whether I

1:01.9

feel good about something or not is whether I can look back on an event in a previous year or at a

milestones are better. Our more peaceful are more fulfilling. I'm more present. I'm more embodied and

1:45.7

that is a lot that has a lot to do with a rigorous, I wouldn't say rigorous daily practice because I

1:56.6

am not always rigorous about a daily practice although I want to discuss with you the benefits of

2:02.1

that certainly at the beginning but a rigorous dedication to growth that oftentimes involves a daily

2:10.0

practice and fighting my resistance and helping people. So I'm going to talk about that a little

2:15.9

bit today on the pod. A couple notes that I want to touch on before we get into that. The first is

2:23.4

that just remember where to find me. My website is the cure for chronic pain.com. If anything I say

2:29.5

resonates with you here, you can definitely look up my work there and on the resources page I have

2:35.8

links to everything I do which is the book on Amazon which is the YouTube channel on YouTube which

2:44.2

is the cure for chronic pain. And my Freedom from Chronic Pain course is also available on my website.

2:53.4

And of course my Facebook group which is journal speak with Nicole Sacks LCSW which is a close
