Howdy this is Lemy with Rosillo and I'm joined once again by my partners in

crimes, Spurgy and Joe Zito and we are recapping the 2018 year in motorcycles.

So first things first we listen to your feedback on the Ickema video.

What we're going to do in this particular piece is just spend a little more time chewing the fat with each other and draw out some of our

conversational talking points on those topics.

This year is full of everything from new bike releases to big news to a lot of new riding experiences for us here at

Revsillo or mostly made of riders anyway. Yeah completely agree so let's kick it off.

Spurgi what do you have for your first big event?

Yeah, so I actually did a lot of research on this and I think for me this is a real positive takeaway because a lot of people are talking

about declining motorcycle sales. But if you look at small bike sales, this is where it gets really interesting. So you look at I think it's sub 500

CC sport bikes, sub 600 CC cruisers, dual sports up at 250. You're looking at 27 to like 35% increases in sales so

while we are losing you know some of the top tier big touring bike sales and

you know some of the some of the bigger bike sales really what we're seeing

is we're seeing a new interest in small bikes being sold in the US and I think

that could speak volumes to getting new riders involved and then hopefully down the road

maybe seeing that shift move back up to larger displacement bikes as people move

on to bigger bikes. I mean I think that's I think that's super positive for

motorcycle. I agree yeah. I'll be the voice of dissent here so I think you just glossed

over something I mean sales are down they're down you're over your sales are down

I mean that's that's not positive for anything.

I'll go one step further and say that I don't even know that that's that big a problem.
