their engagement. Casey was a single mother of two when she thought she found her

perfect match online. After dating for a year, he suddenly proposed and she

moved halfway across the country buying a new house so they could combine their

families to start a new life together. When she discovered his web of lies of

deceitful behavior, she decided to end their relationship. And that's when her

true nightmare began. Casey, thank you for joining us today.

Thanks for having me. Casey, what was your life like right before you met your

ex-fans? My life was good. I had a good job. I was doing something I really liked. I was

running half-marathons. I had friends. I had my kids. Everything was just good.

It was at that point in my life where I felt I didn't need somebody, but I wanted

to add somebody. Why did you try online dating? Because I had kids and I worked

and being a single mom. My kids were younger at the time. So you're running them

around. A lot of my friends were married. I didn't want to go to a bar and meet someone.

You have that kind of faith that the people that are online are like you and then you find

out that they're not. I was kind of new to it. A little hesitant.
