At First Peter chapter 1, Peter reminds exiled

Christians about their hope in Christ. Peter praises God for how he gives those who

come to faith in Christ a living hope. This living hope involves an inheritance that can never

fade or be taken away. And this inheritance is eternal life with Christ.

Although these Christians are experiencing suffering, they can rejoice because of the sanctification
