And today is the second episode of the last series of the sitcom The Mayor's Fancy Dress Ball.

Oh, do take us through the synopsis, William. Hyacinth is anxious to attend the mayor's fancy dress ball. However, as Richard has retired and is no longer a council employee,

they are now not automatically on the guest list. Hyacinthens sends her highly embarrassed husband

to the town hall to make sure they receive an invitation.

When she and Richard turn up on the night, her nose is really put out when she discovers

that the costume she has so carefully chosen is also being worn by others.
