Today we're talking about season 3 episode 5 title genre so you know a few times now

Aaron multiple viewings what did you think I think I think that there there's but there's a lot there's a lot going on there's a lot of things are open to

interpretation which you know hello it's it's it's Tuesday and this is West

world I think that you're the things that we said on the instant take

podcast about you know how this is fundamentally very interesting and

intellectual stimulating exercise that is

suffering for some execution problems like as you mentioned a lot of the middle parts of the episode

kind of drag I don't think you know a second watch and prove that any. But I was just noticing more and more things that kind of point to things happening under the hood, things that are not quite as they seem, connections the previous episodes, thematic connections,

that I think are super interesting.

Like I said, I'm all on board at the store this the season central storytelling and the

characters and I guess I I don't know like I wasn't as bothered by some of the

draggy parts in the middle because my expectations for Westworld doing really exciting

action scenes are already kind of baked in. Like my expectation is they're not. They're going to, it's going to,

if, I'm hoping for competence but like

exciting and like pulse pounding is just you know I don't think that's a

gear that there this team is trying for in fact they might even be doing it as like as I've said a stylistic choice but

the stuff they're talking about you know societal and AI and and predictive analysis and simulation

I think stuff all that is still really interesting and there's a lot of big

questions in this episode what did you think think on subsequent watches? Yeah, absolutely. I agree with all of that. I think the second watch did nothing for the bad scenes but did quite a bit for the good parts of this episode, which I think are, you know, primarily centered around
