uh I thought it was pretty good I thought that thought that I did not see like as I've been wondering like you know what the hell is Dolores doing?

There's a couple points in this episode where I thought aha she is using Caleb and you know when she sent him out to die on the

roof of that automated SUV under the withering gunfire he's taken I'm like she's

just using him as a meat shield and then

Dempsey called out like she's just and I'm like okay they're planting this and then she

literally takes bullets for him at the end of the episode and she sets all mankind free.

I thought that was really good and I was surprised.

I thought that was an interesting take for her to like take this Shadow War public and kind of like neuter

It makes perfect sense in retrospect, but like how do you neuter Raya Boam's powers you

Let the subjects in on the dirty little secret now I think you can quibble about

the cinematic language they use to tell that story and in fact this show is just so operatic that like I'm almost

wondering if how austere the action is and how some how performative of some of

this stuff is is almost like a stylistic choice. But I thought the big picture stuff they're doing is

was pretty good. What do you think? Yeah so I thought the beginning and the ending of this episode were pretty good. I was really into all of the Sarac backstory stuff.

Every time we sort of flashback to that and then we sort of see that, you know, the memories that Dolores has pulled from Rea Boam about Surak are, in fact, what we're seeing in those moments.

I thought all that stuff was really cool and I'm curious, you know, how that ties in to

Caleb's backstory because there seems to be some link there that Liam hints at
