Hello, we're here because we absolutely love Hyacinth in the world of keeping up appearances,

and we want you to fall in love with it as much as we do.

So by now, you should know how this podcast works,

but here's just a little refresher for you, just in case.

In each instalment, William and I will take you through an episode of Keeping Up appearances, delving deep into the world of the bouquets. So which

episode are we talking through today, William? We're talking through the second episode of the

second series, Driving Mrs Fortescue. A classic. Here's the synopsis, direct from producer-director Harold Snowd.

The elderly Mrs Fortiskew telephones and asks Hyacinth whether she happens to be going into town,

and if she and Richard could give her a lift.

Hyacinth regards Mrs. Fortiskew as very eminent, and if she and Richard could give her a lift. Hyacinth regards Mrs. Fortescue

as very eminent, and immediately agrees to assist, although Richard is none too keen. Having called

and picked her up, they are driving into town when Richard happens to spot Daisy and Rose

waiting for a bus, and much to Hyacinth's horror, stops and also gives them a lift.
