And I was like, was she named after her, but then I'm reading a story you were supposed to be Michael Angelo

Because your mom was to the Sistine Chapel thought she was having a boy

Had a girl and then freak you know did a remix on to Michelangelo which is dope

Going through the world with such a name though and then Angela Davis it's like a

conference like a convergence of art and activism and and that's exactly what you became.

I remember the first time I met Professor Davis and it was at Essence Festival and we key keyed about how we get mistaken for each other and the certain situations that will put us in but the honor of it is more than anything else and once I got fake protested because this is so sad but they thought I would I'm

and they made posters with the you know like the cross through it with my picture and I'm like you know what y'all this is a university and y'all can't even googne right like so you know they were so that that's kind of my claim to fame. I was fake protested as

Angela Davis. I love it I love it. We were also talking a little bit off Mike about you being out of the keynote speaking panel space because you

were on for a minute you know every panel that had to do it race or anything you

were there I tapped out a long time ago like I

refused to go on even though there's pressure to always go on like no that

two-minute sound bite doesn't actually heal or free anybody to me. I don't know what your impetus was for not doing it anymore.
