0:40.8	your community? A lot of folks are thinking I want to start a business and we always kind of go to the to the go-tos. You know, so I recently had a call on my radio show from a gentleman who wanted to start a business. It was in the entertainment
0:54.6	field and I you'll hear what what the exchange was. But I got super frustrated because we
0:59.8	always go down these paths that, listen, Erica Badu was just online telling us that, you know, she
1:07.3	charged a dollar for her concerts in her house and people were complaining about paying
1:12.4	a dollar and she was like where can you pay a
1:14.2	dollar or two dollars to see Erica Badu perform and people still don't want to do it.
1:19.8	There are great performers, there are great entertainers out there who are struggling right now to to figure out
1:24.8	how to get people to show up for their home concerts. What entertainment
1:31.9	idea can you have that's bigger and better than Erica by do performing in her home?
1:36.7	I guarantee you is not bigger or better.
1:39.2	So I'm like, we always go to these things, restaurants.
1:41.9	My dad and I shared this on the show,
1:44.4	food, clothing, and shelter.
1:45.4	He said, if you do one of those three things,
1:47.8	you're going to always be in business.
1:49.7	But what he had a grocery store, which was very successful, but it took a toll on him.
1:54.5	18 hours a day for 18 years and he held a job at the same time.
1:59.0	He was a parole officer for 16 of those 18 years.
