This is Karen Hunter and welcome to the hub. Abdul Rahman Mohammed. Mohammed, Abdul Rahman Mohammed. I want to take some time talking about

this man because he is the quintessential depiction of what perseverance looks like.

He is somebody who would not rest until he got to the bottom of something.

He spent 30 plus years of his life following this question, who killed Malcolm X.

Because he knew for a fact that the men that were arrested and convicted,

they weren't all guilty, that there were still people walking

around this earth who had contributed to the death of Malcolm X and he was

determined to pursue that truth and he did so without money.

He wasn't funded.

He went out and he was his own time and energy

while he was raising his family, while he was working.

A brilliant man graduated from Howard,

but did not have a PhD.

Was not one of these learned scholars,

wasn't even in law, but knew how to pick up breadcrums.

And it's a lesson, you know, I talk on these mics on this

airwave quite frequently about self-determination and the way in which we can create the life in the

world that we want to live in.

And it goes beyond just, you know, having a nice neighborhood

or a nice home.

It's like the world we live in requires and demands that we all require and demand

truth and justice and I know those sound that those sound like amorphous you know
