This is Karen Hunter and welcome to the hub. I don't know when I had the courage to do a lot of the things that I do on a regular

basis. Sometimes I look back and go, oh, you're bold. But I do know that courage, like confidence,

stacks up over time. It accum accumulates and I can go back as far as the

sixth grade and asking this really scary principle to skip and I've told this story many times

before because it was pivotal to go to an adult, a scary adult, and

craft a plan and actually have it work. I remember that being a turning point in my

young life. I was not even 12 years old and I said to myself

if I can do this I can what else can I do and I think that was the pursuit and the

question and today's Tech Tuesday and last week I interviewed a woman, Dr.

Loretta Cheeks, who was phenomenal.

And so I'm going to play a portion of that interview for you here. But the end of it she talks about getting your wings and learning how to fly because

really you know and I talk a lot about this in this space that this life is to be lived

you're supposed to have life and life abundantly and

what that means is to find the thing that you're put here to do but even if you

don't know what you're here to do, the journey, enjoy it, try things, figure it out, fail, pick yourself back up, go back

out and do something else because here's the truth, you can't fail, you're only just

stacking up lessons and confidence and courage and you

only get that by actually getting in the game or rolling up your sleeves and doing it. So the

message today, while we're going to be talking about AI and technology and if you don't

have an affinity towards it, maybe you should look into it anyway because that tech is the future and we should be a part of it. We need as many of

you listening to my voice from the global majority as possible getting into tech. It is the
