This is Karen Hunter and welcome to the hub. So much focuses on gun control. What we really need in America is people

control. What we really need in America is to examine why we have these racial constructs because that's at the crux of it.

We're focusing on the gun but before there was a gun there was a bomb and

before there was a bomb there was a noose and before there was a noose there was a noose there was a bomb there was a noose, there was a whip, and before there was a whip, there was a chain.

You can take away the gun. Next will be a drone.

So let me tell you, the weapon of choice choice will change even if there's gun control

legislation tomorrow we haven't changed the hearts and minds of the people who

actually perpetrating these mass killings and these horrors and these terroristic acts.

That's gotta be to work.

but also what are we going to do to build because I can't focus on something I can't control

Which is somebody's heart which is somebody's mentality, but I can focus on how we spend our money and how we move in the world.
