It is a beautiful, beautiful morning

in our nation's first capital.

And first of all, let me say good morning,

all of the Nubians, especially the mothers

as we go into this weekend,

where we celebrate you every day, actually,

so anybody that is mothering and doing the mothering thing. God bless you. And

Dr. Carter, thank you for this. Thank you. And it's so funny, I was coming up on the train.

I got the early train at 11th Union Station at 3 a.m. And you know black folks. We worked the shifts, other people don't want to work. And the black women were in force on Amtrak, the conductors,

the engine looking to sisters,

and as they were coming in and people were getting on the train,

they were wishing all the women happy mothers there.

I said, see, that's what black women do.

It was a beautiful thing at 3 o'clock in the morning. So you know I do my morning

getting nature with the birds in the nature every single morning and now I listen to audio books so I've been doing that so I can

multitask right so first I want to thank you I was always a reader I always always always always a reader but I'm now reading things I've never

thought I would be reading and so you maybe a month ago in office hours you brought up stolen focus by

Johann Hari Hari I think it is H a R I and I finally uploaded it because I just finished Jenny R.i's IBM the IBM book Good Power I just finished that
