0:17.0	My name is Tahir Johnson. I'm born and raised here in Ewing Township, New Jersey.
0:22.0	Third generation, my mom grew up here, graduated from in Ewing Township, New Jersey, third generation.
0:23.0	My mom grew up here, graduated from high school here.
0:26.0	My parents actually were the first African Americans
0:29.2	on our street in 1954. My mother, yeah, for over 30 years she worked at General Motors.
0:37.0	And when GM left that really made a major impact, the town really changed.
0:43.0	Where my shop will be located is right there on the block where General Motors was where my grandmother retired from.
0:50.0	I've been a long time cannabis lover for lack of a better word. I was arrested for
0:56.0	cannabis on three separate occasions and the cops said that I looked like a drug
0:59.7	dealer and they ended up searching my car. Had a small amount of cannabis.
1:04.0	I had a probably by the dime bag of weed.
1:06.0	And now, look at him.
1:08.0	He is the director of Social Equity and Inclusion
1:11.0	at U.S. Cannabis Council. He testified today before the New Jersey
