Okay, so I wanted to be stressed out today.

This is the first year that I have actually paid estimated taxes for the next year.

I am proud of you.

Let me tell, well my accountant was like, look, he was like, you know, it takes the stress and the trauma away because you pay as you go.

And that's the beautiful thing about estimated tax payments. I heard you mention

side hustles part-time businesses, full-time businesses just a second ago and

the opportunity that you have as a business person is that you can claim a whole wide universe of deductions that are related to operating your business.

However, the responsibility... that are related to operating your business.

However, the responsibility is that now you don't have a big brother or

big sister to withhold taxes, you actually have to pay them over yourself, preferably on a quarterly basis.

And that not only, as you say, it kind of eliminates that problem where you have this balloon payment after the end of the

tax year but it also takes you out of the realm of being penalized for failure to

make these quarterly estimated tax payments.

So, full disclosure, this was the largest tax bill I've ever had in my entire life, probably collectively over my entire existence as a human being.
