as we look at Ruth's story in the new international version.

The book of Ruth tells a powerful story of loyalty and redemption, the Ruth's unwavering

devotion to her mother-in-law, Naomi, and their faith in God.

Set during the days of the judges of Israel, in a time of hardship and famine, the story follows

the lives of three key characters, Naomi, Ruth, and Boas.

Soon after Naomi migrates from Bethlehem to Moab, her husband and sons die,

leaving her alone with her daughters-in-law.

Naomi decides to return to Bethlehem and urges her daughters-in-law to stay in Moab
