I'm James, and I'd like to thank you for joining me tonight for this story titled Cave of Refuge.

It seems there are fewer and fewer quiet places found on earth.

Natural sanctuary is untouched by human sound or technology.

Still, we search for remote areas of God's creation that provide refuge for our weary souls.

Tonight's sleep story takes us to such a place as we look to the old testament book of first samuel chapter 22 which begins by saying david left gath and took refuge in the

cave of od'Dulam.

When David's brothers and his father's whole family heard,

they went down and joined him there.

Now, this family gathering wasn't your typical social gathering, but instead, a congregation of loved ones seeking refuge.
