Well, Advent season is almost upon us, and there's no other name for God that quite depicts

the season like Emmanuel, God with us.

You know, as we journey through the Advent season, we make room for our king.

We prepare him room and our hearts.

We ponder the reality of his presence in our lives. And we learn to lean a

bit more on him to bend in ear toward heaven and to listen for what the still small whisper of God

has to say to us. Or we get so caught up in the hustle bustle of the holidays, even as believers,

we're counting the days till the holidays are over so we can focus on Jesus again. But it doesn't

have to be that

way. We can pause, be still, know that he is God, and experience him in revelatory ways.
