you know it, I know it. And this one's felt really appropriate because it's the first time

I sat down and chat with Rukka Bregman. Back in 2018, he had a book out called Utopia for Realists

that went on to be my favourite book of that year.

It's one of my favourite books of all time. Fun fact about this episode, if you're a Taskmaster fan,

if you remember the James Acaster series of Taskmaster, there's a point where he gets someone to dress up as Santa and he says you'd be

amazed how hard it is to find a bearded person last minute in London. James Acaster email or

text me that day to ask me to come and be the Taskmaster Santa for him, but I was on my way

to interview Rooka Bregman, so I said,

I can't. I'm recording what I see as a really important podcast, and I'm really glad I made

that choice. So yeah, there's a fun fact, but also Rooka Bregman's new book this year,

moral ambition, absolutely blew me away. All three of these books came up right at the start of the

year in the Jess Megan episode. So I thought it was a good time to re-release this. Rooka continues to

talk sense in a sea of nonsense. And this was the first time I kind of became exposed to him.

You set this or that?

Yeah.

But with a podcast, you don't really take an audio clip or a fragment out of the podcast and say,

oh, well, she said this or that. It kind of allows people to change their mind.

And what I like about podcasts is I've had some with, again, some big names who've said

some controversial stuff.

But because I've not selected to take a little sound bite of that and push it to the media

...
