The Space Treaty of 1967 forbids the militarization of low-Earth orbit, medium-Earth orbit, high-Earth orbit.

However, right now there is a report, and it's repeated from the Biden administration, this is not whispering, that Russia intends or maybe already

has deployed a nuclear weapon into low-Earth orbit.
