industry into the defense industry.

I told the anecdote of a village, somewhat outside of Moscow where people have their weekend

dachkis, dachis having been converted from a village where nobody much worked to everybody

working in a drone factory.

Apparently this is one small piece of turning the whole economy into a war economy.

They're desperately short of manpower and there's severe inflation.
