A Russian anti-aircraft system may be to blame in the Azerbaijan Airlines jet crash that killed at least 38 people, according to a U.S. official.

The plane was carrying 67 passengers and crew. Earlier today, Azerbaijani authorities said they were investigating the cause of the crash

in cooperation with authorities in Kazakhstan.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the deadly crash during the Commonwealth

of Independent States' summits held in Moscow.

unfortunately, I must say a few words about the tragedy that happened in Oktow today.

The plane crashed.

There are people killed.

There are many injured.

Human rights advocates warn that Palestinian children are bearing the brunt of Israel's bombardment

of Gaza.

The Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Dr. Munir al-Busch, says the most recent evidence

is the death of at least four Palestinian babies that died of hypothermia and cold temperatures

in the past week. Palestinians are pushed to tent encampments due to Israel's siege of the

Gaza Strip as living conditions deteriorate for newborns and children, which are the most vulnerable population.
