Come ending on the Helter Sculpture News from Europe, from Moscow, from London, from

Rostov, about the coup, mutiny, pooch, rebellion of these last 24-48 hours.

The news now is as confusing as it was yesterday, but more so because it's

different than yesterday. For example, a pergotiant, a leader of the coup, pooch,

rebellion, mutiny is not to be found. It's also said that he has received a pardon

from the Kremlin for his activity. Yesterday, the charges were dropped.

It's an important distinction because a pardon means he was convicted in some

courtroom somewhere. There's also Vladimir Putin, who has not been seen since

his first TV announcement at the first in the first hours of the coup, mutiny, pooch, rebellion.

And Shouko, the Minister of Defense who pergotiants spoke so harshly against, has also not been

seen. So we have no hard facts. We have a tumble of information, including that the US government

and the person of Anthony Blinken believes they're real cracks. That's the metaphor he uses.

Real cracks in the Putin regime. The US also mentions it's concerned for the

nuclear weapons that Russia possesses. I welcome Thaddeus MacArthur to comment on these

tumbling facts because guaranteed 24 hours from now, there'll be new ones. Thank you, Thaddeus.

Thank you, John. Well, I think it's a very fluid situation. We don't know much from the facts on the

ground. We've seen different reports indicating why this push was started. We've seen different

reports as to why it may no longer be operative at this point. I think that in some ways we have

to avoid the wishful thinking that this is the end of Putin, that this is the end of the regime,

while you and I may wish that were the case. We have to be clear-eyed and realistic about this.
