When I decided to do a podcast about issues, sports, politics, and life, I guess I did not

anticipate a day like today where there was really only one story to talk about globally,

and that is the invasion or attack by the

Russian Federation against Ukraine, and what this might mean for not just what's happening there

in that region for those people, but what may happen globally for all of us. The first thing we know

is going to happen is prices of everything are going to go up. The stock market is going to tank. We're going to have problems in this country. This will affect us because for better or for worse,

we all live in one world now, and it's all connected as the world has become a smaller place. And we've

certainly bought into that ourselves here in the United States in so many ways, with so many things from the left trying to connect us globally,

specifically to countries like China and Russia, which we know are not good for us.

We learned during the pandemic that we are too close to China.

We're too reliant on China, that too many things that China is in control of.

We are too reliant on like microchips,

supply chains, products, all kinds of things. We're going to learn the same thing here with Russia,

specifically or most importantly, with the energy sector. Energy is something we can certainly

fix, all on our own. Do we have a president that will do it?

Probably not.

If he goes back to the Trump, if he just goes back to all the Trump-era policies,

many of our woes will go away very quickly.
